Škocjan caves, the only natural beauty in Slovenia that is listed on the UNESCO world heritage list.
Majestic Slovenian capital was awarded several tourist prizes in the last decade, including the Silver Access City Award in 2018.
We will pick you up from Ljubljana airport and transfer to your hotel. In late afternoon or evening we do a 2-hour guided tour of Ljubljana, a city which in 2015 was given the Bronze Access City Award. We shall have a tour around the city center that was highly denoted by a Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik and then take the funicular to Ljubljana Castle. Overnight in Ljubljana.
From our capital we drive to Bled with its famous lake and island with church and medieval castle on the rock above the lake; so with just a little of imagination we feel like in a fairy tale. Here you will have a rare opportunity to dive into the lake with all the scuba diving equipment. No worries – our Dive Master will give you all the necessary knowledge for your first diving experience. As swimming under water is quite exhausting, we will do just a short tour around the lake which will bring us to the best sweetshop in the area, where a typical Bled cream cake “kremšnita” has been produced in the same way for decades. Yummy! Overnight in Bled or Bohinjska Bistrica on the edge of Triglav National Park.
From Bohinjska Bistrica we will drive to Bohinj and start enjoying the beauty of our biggest natural lake Bohinj which is a part of the Triglav National Park. The lake is situated between some of the highest mountains of Slovenia. On the lake we jump on boats and do some exercise by rowing around in the crystal-clear water. As viewing is always a good idea, we will take the cable car up to the winter ski resort of Vogel, 1.625 meters above sea level. From here we will get the best possible view of Triglav, our highest mountain, and the picturesque lake far below us. Typical mountain lunch will be served on Vogel. In the afternoon we head towards Planica, which is located in the north-western part of Slovenia, very close to Austrian and Italian borders. There we will be greeted by the famous and biggest Ski Flying facility in the world. Every year in March the valley is full of visitors of the Ski Flying World Cup Finals. We don’t do the ski flying. We only take the chairlift to the top of the hill and come down with a zip-line – at least we can get a part of the feeling that ski fliers have. After some adrenaline adventure, we spend a night in Kranjska Gora, a well-known ski resort in Slovenia.
On this day we will change the climate from Alpine to Mediterranean. From Kranjska Gora we will take the windy road up to 1.611 meters above sea level. The road was constructed during the First World War by Russian prisoners and connects the Sava Valley in the north to the Soča Valley in the south. After a short stop to take in the beautiful views at the top of the Vršič Pass we will descend to the river Soča. The river is popular for rafting and other activities and it is believed that this is one of the most stunning rivers in Europe. The great green color of its waters will accompany us most of the day. On the way we will see the Boka waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in Slovenia. We will than make a stop in Kobarid's museum of cheese production, as the region is very famous for it. The area around here was the place of the Isonzo front line during the times of the First World War. From here we will continue to short but interesting Slovenian coast, where we will base ourselves in Izola, Strunjan or Portorož.
Our first stop on the trip around Slovenian coast will be the Šečovlje saltworks. Nature park in which they are producing salt since the 13th century, has recently been adapted for the needs of the disabled people. Our next stop is Piran. After arrival we will have a guided tour of the city, which also has a nickname Slovenian Venice. During the tour you’ll be able to see Tartini’s and 1st May Square and the Saint Clements Church. We’ll also be enjoying the accessible promenade near the seaside, on the place where the city walls used to stand and protect the city. The city of Piran is one of the best-preserved medieval towns on Adriatic coast with beautiful setting on a peninsula, narrow cobbled lanes and a church and fortress high above the town. Our next stop will be the Refošk wine cellar, located in the biggest city on Slovenian coast Koper. Refošk wine cellar is completely accessible for wheelchair users. There we will try some of best wines from Slovene Littoral Region, like Refošk and Malvazija. After the wine tasting transfer back to your hotel.
We are here to dive! Bled lake was a unique experience, but diving in a salty water of warm Adriatic Sea is something different. As you already have some experience with it, it’s going to be easier this time. We put all the scuba diving equipment on our backs and go for searching for fish, starfish, seahorses and other beautiful creatures.

“Miha and Danijel, Greetings from Frankfurt! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my brief stay in Ljubljana absolutely incredible.
“All the daytrips were very good. The day in the Alps was fantastic, with stunning views. Petra and Urban are both very kind. And the eurokey that you lent us solved the issue of toilets. I would like that in our travels we find more agencies like yours that will make it easier for us to enjoy the trip. It is not always easy to find transport adapted to our needs or agencies that answer so quickly to all our questions.
Thank you so much for everything.
“All was very good - thank you! Looking forward to work togheter with you!
